* Please note: In order to hold your place in class, you must pay the registraion fee and first month's tuition in full.  We can not hold a spot in class without payment. Online payments cannot be made via mobile devices (phones) or tablets. They must be made from a PC. If you wish to pay with cash or check, your spot will be held for three days after  your registration is received! Thank you.

Tuition and Payment

You can now easily pay tuition online! Just a few things to remember before making your payment...

  • Monthly Tuition is based on hours/classes per week
  • If you have 2 or more dancers in your family that are taking 2 or more classes, please contact us for discounts.
  • You must add a 25.00 registration fee to your first month's tuition UNLESS you are a RETURNING PERFORMANCE company member. All new company members and all other students must pay a registation/adminstration fee.
  • Over-payment will be credited to your account.
  • If you would like to sign-up for automated billing, please fill out the attached form after you have submitted your first month's payment

Tuition will be pulled from your account each month. We highly recommend this! A late fee will be charged to delinquent accounts. (please see policies)

 Policies

  1. Students are required to be on time.  Warm-up is essential to avoid injury.
  2. If you are running late or going to miss class, please contact us by telephone or email.
  3. Absolutely no food, gum, or drinks in the studio.  All food and drink must be kept in the dressing room.  Only bottled water is allowed in the studio
  4. Tuition is due BY the 1st of the month.  Payments received after the 10th will be charged a 5.00 late fee, after the 20th will be charged a 15.00 late fee.  If your account is not current, your child will no longer be able to attend class or participate in the end of year performance.  A fee of 25.00 will be added to all returned checks.
  5. The monthly tuition rate will remain the same throughout the year regardless of the number of weeks in the month (for example: Winter and Spring Break).  Tuition will not be prorated or adjusted.  Make-up classes will be offered if needed. Dancespace will follow Virginia Beach Public School Calendars for closures due to inclement weather.
  6. If you are withdrawing from class, a written notice of phone call to the office must be made before the 1st of the month before the withdrawal date.
  7. Proper attire is required for ALL dancers. This includes hair pulled away from the face.  Please respect the teachers and the discipline by dressing appropriately.    
  8. Dancespace reserves the right to engage substitutes for the classes where the regular teacher is absent.  New teachers always have something new to share with young dancers.
  9. Please respect others and their feelings.  Positive attitudes prove to be much more productive.
  10. Parents, please do not enter the studio during your child's class time.  This is very distracting to your children, other students, and the teachers.  If you would like to view class, please make arrangements with the teacher.
